My program has been designed to keep players durable and improve season to season. I have seen a lot of baseball in my short coaching career. I have been involved in 17 seasons in baseball since the 2016 fall. I use the Driveline program for foundation movements as well as arm care. The plyocare balls are not only a tool for velocity gain, but arm care as well. We go through 15 min of warm up, 30 min of throwing, and 15 min of recovery. I am a huge advocate of preparing and recovering the arm as needed. I have developed multiple collegiate arms and one professional arm as well.
We go through a checklist that I have created and formed to the overall pitcher's best ability. We go through different segments of the pitching delivery such as back leg, hip rotation, glove side, etc. Over the past 4 years that I have been doing the lessons for 8-12th graders, we have seen on average 6MPH gain in one full calendar year. I use a calendar format that will have all of my times and you are able to schedule appointments. Typically, I will go M-R especially now when Mount Mercy’s fall season winds down.
I am able to use some of the technology and resources that Mount Mercy has as well such as Trackman and Rapsodo. This is a huge part of development, especially at the high school level. I am also promoting and encouraging more group lessons this fall specifically. With the amount of clients that I have and my position, I have decided to lean towards 6-8 athletes per hour sessions. I have also been coaching High School baseball for 8 years and will continue to do so this summer. Athletes that I work with have developed both on and off the field. They have gained command, velocity, and pitch ability. I have worked with athletes of all levels and have shown durability, toughness, and talent.
I am offering these types of lesson packages
