I graduated from Central City in 2016. I currently hold 3 single-season records at Central City including strikeouts, innings pitched, and batting average. After graduation, I committed to coach Jack Dahm and Mount Mercy University where I studied business administration. I was a 5-year starting pitcher from 2017-2021 baseball seasons. Going into my freshman season, I topped out at 72 MPH from the left side. I ended my playing career topping 89 MPH and pulling down 94 MPH without injury. I resembled what it was like to be very mediocre, to Midseason All-American in 2021 while earning All-Conference selections in the Heart of America (NAIA). I was nominated for team-captain in 2020 and 2021. I developed an obsession to be better on the mound for all my years at Mount Mercy. Through my first 6 starts my last year I recorded a 1.04 ERA and was top 10 in the country. My final ERA ended up being 2.77 and was top 25 in the country from the other respective starters.
After my playing career, I took the volunteer role at Mount Mercy to become a pitching coach while finishing my master’s degree in May of 2022. In the summer of 2021 & 2022, I was the pitching coach at Independence High School where we ended up being one of the best pitching staffs in 3A. I was also nominated as 2021, 2022, and 2023 NE I

In the summer of 2021 & 2022, I was the pitching coach at Independence High School where we ended up being one of the best pitching staffs in 3A. I was also nominated as 2021, 2022, and 2023 NE IA District Assistant Coach of the Year. I was very fortunate to develop and teach the game of baseball to 8 future college baseball players over the last 5 years in Independence. I was very fortunate to reach our goal of making a run at the state tournament. We accomplished that goal and reached the semifinals at the state tournament in 2022.
During this time, I was able to start my collegiate coaching career at Mount Mercy. I worked in the strength & conditioning field as well as being an assistant pitching coach. We grew together throughout each of the first 3 seasons here at Mount Mercy. In August of 2023, I was offered the head pitching position at Mount Mercy. I was able to develop and lead the best pitching staffs in our conference (Heart of America) and were conference champions in the spring of 2024! We were able to make the first ever regional in Mount Mercy Baseball history. I am looking forward to continuing my role as the head pitching coach and reaching our goal to make a run in the NAIA World Series in 2025.
I received my Master's of Strategic Leadership degree in 2022. This helped me shape relationships and coach the player as well as understanding what type of team/organization you have year to year. I also received my Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in 2020 during COVID-19 Global Pandemic.
